 The Changing Face of Hull

Hull is a city thriving on contrasts. Its museum quarter celebrates a local heritage spanning almost 2,000 years yet it is one of the country's youngest cities with a challenging 21st century attitude.

Shopping

All the leading name fashion stores have sites within several minutes walk from NAPA.

450 million pounds is also currently being invested on building two new retail and leisure developments in the city centre.

Eating out

Located in the city centre and in the 'Avenues' district, you will find an amazing array of food, drink and music venues aimed largely at the student and young professionals market.

Attractions

Hull takes great pride in its attractions such as the world-famous DEEP submarium, the Museum Quarter and the Ferens Art Gallery.

Hull is also a very green environment with four major parks and the rolling splendour of the East Riding of Yorkshire only a short bus or train ride away.

Entertainment

Apart from NAPA's own Northern Theatre Studio 2, the city boasts Hull Truck, the home of John Godber's plays, the Hull New Theatre, a large-scale civic theatre, and the City Hall, which is a large scale concert venue. There is also an 8-screen Odeon cinema five minutes walk from NAPA.

Late night

Hull has a well-established reputation for its night life. Clubs like the Adelphi, Lamp and the Welly Club are commanding major bands and Djs.

For big gigs the Ice Arena, KC Stadium and the City Hall play host to acts as diverse as Robbie and Westlife, REM and Elton John.
