Acting

NAPA’s acting classes take the format of informal workshops designed to develop performance techniques and key skills that are required for a variety of genres.

Each class works towards regular performances, whether that be informal performances within sessions or the end of year showcases. Both of these allow the students to show off their achievements giving them all a chance to shine.

In addition to regular sessions and shows, students have several opportunities to audition for production classes, in which they rehearse and stage a complete play.

We also offer private acting tuition where we follow the LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) syllabus which result in students taking exams and gaining recognised qualifications. In addition these solo sessions can also be tailored towards producing audition material.

The objectives of acting here at NAPA are to allow students to learn, develop and flourish within an informal yet professional environment in the most fun way possible.
