Class Overview
Did you know that NAPA offers GCSE’s in drama, dance and music?
These are one year intensive courses. Drama is taught on a Monday evening between 5 and 8pm. The course leader is Daniel Sellers.

GCSE Drama: Three components for study:
Component 1 Understanding drama (written paper)
40% of total mark
[1 hour & 45 mins – Open Book – 80 marks]
• Section A Theatre Roles and Terminology
• Section B Set Play [Currently studying Blood Brothers]
• Live Theatre
Component 2 Devising drama (practical & written)
40% of total mark [Marked by teachers and moderated by AQA]
• Devising Log [60 marks]
• Devising Performance [20marks]
Component 3 Texts in practice (practical)
20% of total mark [Moderated by AQA]
• Performance of Extract 1 [20marks]
• Performance of Extract 2 [20marks]
