NAPA’s EMERGENCE Programme
Aim: Our aim is to introduce boys and young men into the performing arts, helping to raise aspirations whilst in a professional and fun environment.
What is EMERGENCE?
This aim of the course is to introduce boys and young men from across the city of Hull into performing arts.
We offer two boys dance based classes: 12-16 year olds and 16-20 year olds, both designed to break the mould in terms of the dance offering in the city for young men.
Both classes are held on a Tuesday evening: 5-6pm for the 12-16’s and 6.30-7.30pm for the 16-20 age range.
Students are offered workshops with industry professionals from all aspects of the performing arts industry ranging from Directors, Contact Directors, Choreographers and Performers. The workshops take place during the holidays of the academic year.
