Safeguarding at NAPA
Safeguarding means making sure our young people are safe, healthy, protected from harm and enjoy positive wellbeing. Here at NAPA we are committed to doing everything we can to make sure all of our students, visitors and staff are kept safe and protected from harm.
Safeguarding at NAPA is everyone’s responsibility. This means as a team we work hard to:
- Protect children from abuse and maltreatment
- Prevent harm to children’s health and development
- Ensure children grow with provision of safe and effective care
- Take action to enable all children and young people have the best outcomes
We work to provide a safe and welcoming environment where students are respected and valued. We are alert to safeguarding and wellbeing concerns and follow our procedures to ensure our students receive effective support, protection and an appropriate response. We take all Safeguarding concerns seriously.
NAPA has a comprehensive Safeguarding policy which recognises its statutory obligations in providing a safe learning environment. There is a designated senior lead for Safeguarding (details below). You can download a copy of our current Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy here: NAPA Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy March 2023
