The Northern Academy of Performing Arts is a pioneering arts charity providing excellent, affordable training in Hull and the East Riding for all ages. Our vision is to change lives through performing arts activities in this region.

The chair position is an opportunity to play a key strategic role leading and directing the Board through an exciting period of development, expansion and creative artistic vision focusing on the importance of the arts for young people.
The successful candidate will:
- Ensure the Trustees fulfil their duties and responsibilities
- Oversee proper governance of NAPA
- Support the Chief Executive and wider team
We are especially keen to hear from:
- People from backgrounds or characteristics underrepresented in the arts and on theatre boards
- Those who are uncertain if they are suitable or qualified
We recognise potential and take pride in giving people a platform to make a step-change in their career, and in their personal development
